The Comfortable setting of Aurora Manor
provides residents with a relaxed, yet stimulating environment
for rehabilitation and recovery. Our facility's team
of health care professionals coordinates a special clinical
and rehabilitation program for each resident according
to physician's orders through the use of an interdisciplinary
approach. At Aurora Manor, we welcome the opportunity
to work with the resident's physician. In addition, our
Medical Director is available to follow a resident's
progress in our facility.
Our facility delivers the highest quality
and most comprehensive nursing rehabilitation services
available. Upon admission, our clients receive same
day evaluations. This ensures that our clients maintain
an established care path with the goal of returning
to the community or moving within a full continuum
of care. Therapies are available six days a week
for the more complex and aggressive cases.
The Rehabilitation Team also assists
with the Restorative Nursing Programs to allow for
continued improvement or maintenance of a resident's
current abilities. All Rehabilitation Team members
are registered therapists to ensure the highest skill
and quality level available. You can be assured of
case studies and follow-up communications between the
therapy team and all relevant parties.
Our goal is to provide for the clinical
and psychosocial needs of our residents. We encourage
residents to personalize their rooms, whether their
stay is for short-term care or for a longer duration.
We recognize that this aids in the recovery and rehabilitation
process. Our recreation areas provide opportunities
for socialization and stimulation. Therapeutic
recreation is designed for all age groups and interests.
Special events are scheduled regularly and provide
another way for family and friends to remain very
active in the life of each resident.
